After spending six months in Oregon, I've finally made my first recreational trip to Portland. It's not a bad town, I just hate I-5 too much to come up here often. This pic is from the Chinese Gardens.
I made a stop at Powell's tonight and picked up some new books to review for OOJ. More details on that later.
Tomorrow it's Tillamook or bust. We're hiking Cape Lookout and staying in a yurt. I'll be trying out my new Atmos 65 and geocaching. We're looking for GC9311.
I'll let you know how it works out.

Nice shot. What kind of tree is that blossom attached to?
The Atmos looks pretty sweet. I've been looking for a new frame pack for a while, as though the Kelty I've had since '94 is as servicable as ever the external frame bit doesn't work wonderfully on many trains and buses.
I've been enjoyed getting into geocaching here in Greater Boston over the past three months... fun stuff.
Hey Digiphile, thanks for the comment. No idea on the tree -- I should have checked out the info on the tag.
How long have you been in Boston? That's where we just moved from.
As for the Atmos, I'm pretty happy with it. I think there are better bags out there (I bought it in a rush), but it's definitely a good buy for the price (under $200). I'm posting a review of it later today.
Where is your site? Blogger won't let me get to it through your profile.
