If you land a beast of a striper, dragging it for a mile or more is too much for many, especially if the years are weighing heavy on your bones. I try to at least bring a 5 gallon bucket, though for surf casting that's often too bulky.<BR/><BR/>From personal experience, getting a deer out using a fireman's carry is not pleasant, especially once dressed.
